Product Description

Each of my original papercuttings begins as a single sheet of archival paper that I cut entirely by hand using a freehand process, allowing the design to evolve naturally as I work. My inspiration comes from the landscapes of Mount Desert Island, Maine, the idea of home, the strength of small communities, and my love of mid-century Scandinavian textiles and patterns. While my work may appear delicate, I intentionally create each piece to be sturdy and enduring. Once the papercutting is complete, I carefully adhere it to a second sheet of archival paper using archival adhesive and professionally frame it with museum-quality archival glass to preserve it for years to come.
